Futuristic Fun
Below are five of my ideas. Leave yours in the comments area below.
- Have campers do some creative writing about what the future will look like. The best ones will be created into a skit and acted out by the staff.
- Have groups film a mini-movie about a technological advancement in the near future. Film it using a smartphone. Watch them all at the end of the week.
- Dress a couple of campers from each group in futuristic fashion (whatever that means to them) and hold a fashion show.
- Make robots from recycled materials as a craft project, or buy actual robot kits and put them together.
- Hold a Hunger Games. Have campers spread out in pairs around camp. If they are tagged (either by hand, Nerf guns, or laser tag guns) they’re out.
