Introduction
By participating in the Camp Program Ideas competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by SCamp Life.
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants who are at least 18 years of age or older. SCamp Life podcast hosts and their families are excluded from entering.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is no limit to the number of entries per person and the competition is completely free to enter.
The Prize
The winning prizes are as follows:
The Top Winner will receive $160 worth of downloadable resources (an $80 gift card for the Summer Camp Programming Shop and an $80 gift card for the Steal This shop).
Two Runner-Ups will each receive $80 worth of downloadable resources (a $40 gift card for the Summer Camp Pro Shop and a $40 gift card for the Steal This shop).
The prize is transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
SCamp Life‘s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Judging
The first round of judging will be done by the SCamp Life podcast hosts (Curt Jackson, Chris Kallal, Kelie Cook, and Shauna Guglielmo). They will choose the top six submissions by the end of the day, Monday, February 26, 2024.
There will then be an open public voting for the six semi-finalists. Anyone can vote for their favorite submission. The public voting will last three days. The last day will be Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Winner Announcement
The winners will be announced on the Summer Camp Programming Facebook group on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Winners will also be notified via the email address provided.
Delivery of the Prize
The winners will receive their prizes via email.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by SCamp Life for the purposes of administering the competition.
The winner and two runner-ups’ names will be announced on SCamp Life‘s website and social media channels.
All submissions may be used by SCamp Life in blog posts, publications, and/or social media. If used outside of the competition, the entrants will be credited by name.
Limitation of Liability
SCamp Life accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
General
SCamp Life reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
