SHOW NOTES
The guys discuss STEM learning this week and how you can implement that into your Camp! They share some great ideas like catapults, egg drop, bridge building, zoology, roller coasters, solar ovens, and so much more. STEM would make an awesome addition to your camp program or even a great way to get schools and groups to come out for a retreat!

Question of the Week:
Should Arts be a part of STEM or STEAM?
Curt: Yes, adding art is always good!
Chris: No, Art is already fun, and STEM is supposed to make Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math fun.
HOSTS

Curt: you mentions something called “Art Reno’s”, but you did not mention how it was spelled. Can you spell that out for me?
Sure, Mark. It’s Arduino. I learned about it because a lot of escape rooms use them in a variety of ways. You can find a number of videos and online tutorials. My local library even gives classes on how to program and use Arduinos. If you have a Makerspace in your area, that would also be a good resource.
