The Christmas season is here, and it is an excellent time to host a community Breakfast with Santa event. Not only is this a fun and simple way to host a fundraiser in the community, but it also adds a whole lot of holiday cheer to the atmosphere. Breakfast with Santa can be fun for both children and adults with the right activities. To help make this event as amazing as it should be, here are five ways to spice up a community Breakfast with Santa event.
Arts & Crafts
The lovely thing about Arts and Crafts is that you can use it to keep all the guests busy for a few hours. Your Breakfast with Santa event won’t be complete without adding some holiday arts and crafts to the mix. Since it’s a Christmas theme, make sure you collect a lot of Christmas-oriented materials. These can include supplies for Christmas ornaments and patterned papers. You can incorporate your ideas into this theme to make it even more unique. At the end of the day, you will have happy guests making Christmas cards, paper snowflakes, little Christmas trees, mason jar characters, or their own stockings. Children can also have fun with Christmas coloring books.
Custom Photo Booth
Of course, no event is complete without photos that will be used to remember that day. However, you can add some goofy antics to the mix by building a custom Christmas photo booth. Who says you can’t have some fun yourself while planning your community Breakfast with Santa event? Simply buy as many fun and entertaining Christmas props as you can find. You and your volunteers can also make some yourselves. There are lots of Christmas props to choose from, and these include Santa hats, elf ears, reindeer antlers, funny nose, big glasses, and even a tobacco pipe. Search for anything that you know will add a lot of real laughter as you take these photos.

Guess Who?
Since you might love to add some icebreaker games to your community breakfast with Santa event, here is a fun one to get everyone busy. In your invitations, ask all your guests to come along with at least three different old photo Christmas cards. In place of photo Christmas cards, they can also come along with just old photos that were taken years before during Christmas. As soon as the guests arrive at the event, there should be a basket at the entrance where they will drop just one of their cards or photos. When all the guests have arrived, you can launch the game. The rules are quite simple. Each guest will pick a random card from the basket and try to find out which person dropped it in. Since the pictures will be old ones and some may be embarrassing, it will be fun to watch the guests try to match them with their owners. The first person to do this correctly wins. Since you have asked the guests to come along with at least three photos, you can play this game multiple times.
Decorate a Gingerbread House
You can group your guests with new partners or allow them to pair up with their family members. Either way, the goal is to let your guests get carried away with decorating a fantastic gingerbread house. Get the necessary supplies ready like a variety of colored gumdrops, lots of icing, and whatever toppings you think is creative enough to be added to the list. Since this idea tests the creativity of your guests, it is up to them to come up with something truly breathtaking. You can add an incentive by awarding prizes to the winning team.
Name That Christmas Song?
Who doesn’t love Christmas songs? They add a lot of happy feelings into the atmosphere. You can make it one step better by turning it into a simple game. Divide your guests into teams with about three or four members each, depending on how many people are present. Then, every time you sing just a line of any Christmas song aloud, the team members will write down the name of the Christmas song as fast as they can. You can use a small erasable board for this.
Organizing a community breakfast with Santa event is a great way to spread Christmas cheers. With these unique ideas, you can make it an event to remember. Feel free to tweak them according to your preferences and make sure you have fun.
