What are Round Table Sessions?
Round table sessions can be found at conferences and workshops. Basically a group of people get together and give their suggestions on a specific topic. The idea is that the more people there are, the more ideas will be generated.
I LOVE round table sessions. Since I cannot get all of you in one place to hold a round table session I started doing it via email. The first round table topic was the theme of Pirates. I received over 250 great ideas that I formatted and re-distributed to all of those that had participated. The next round table was the theme International, which could be part of an Amazing Race theme, Cruise Ship theme or an Around the World theme.
In these email round tables ONLY the people who participate receive the final list of ideas. If you have ever been to a round table session where your group has one or two people throwing out ideas while the rest of the group just sits there taking notes, you know how frustrating it can be for those two people who are sharing their ideas. Everyone should be sharing during a round table session.
What kind of ideas do we get?
Readers submit crafts, activities, recipes, other websites, book suggestions, decoration ideas and more.
